Hit Skip Oak Flooring
Reclaimed Wood FlooringWith inviting russet and ruddy browns and hints of ocher, you’ll immediately recognize why antique hit-skip oak is one of our most popular floors. Similar in hue and patina to reclaimed oak, the antique hit-skip oak flooring is exceptionally rugged, thanks to its naturally distressed character.
Made from 100-percent reclaimed wood joists, rafters, granary boards, and siding and floor boards found in old barns and wooden structures in the American East and Midwest, hit-skip oak provides a sturdy, hard-wearing surface that’s perfect for kids and pets.
Distinctives of Antique Hit-Skip Oak Flooring
Our antique hit-skip oak planks feature a prominent mixture of saw marks, nail holes, sound cracks, checking and wormholes. Most of the wood’s original, exposed face is preserved for a more rustic appearance.
